“ Great date spot. Excellent service, reasonably priced for a nice night out. You don’t need a reservation. When we went it wasn’t too loud so we could hear each other, which was nice. Great atmosphere and excellent food. ”
“ We had a wonderful girls' dinner recently. The cocktail selection was fantastic, and the Pornstar Martini with the shot of Prosecco was so fun. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive, but never rushed or hovered over us, making for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. We shared a variety of dishes, from French onion soup (a must-try!) to mussels, fries, mac and cheese, and fresh salads. While everything was delicious, the French onion soup and mussels were the clear standouts. The atmosphere was charming and cozy. The only downside was the reservation process; we had to wait even though there were empty tables. The hostess could’ve been a little more welcoming, but overall, it didn’t detract too much from the experience. Highly recommend for a fun dinner in a trendy spot of Richmond. ”
“ We love a classic bistro experience. Can Can Brasserie delivered for us. Our three courses began with local oysters (accompanied by delicious aoli), Caesar salads (thanks for the anchovies!), and mains of bouliabaise and steak tartar (an app chosen as main). We enjoyed old world wines with our meal, priced accessibly and very well paired. Our waiter Connor was very attentive and friendly. Our OpenTable reservation was made late in the day and was honored on time by a courteous host. The restaurant has a beautiful interior in the classic bistro style. Diners of all ages were present. The atmosphere was lively. It surely is a great place to dine with loved ones, friends or even alone with a book. Enjoy. ”
“ Dessert time Welcoming Taste Happy place I had an amazing experience at Can Can Brasserie! The service was top-notch, with a super cool waiter who made us feel welcome and well taken care of. The ambience is fantastic—warm, inviting, and overall a really cool vibe that makes you want to stay longer. The desserts were out of this world! The Basque tart was absolutely delicious, and the coffee dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. Everything was just spot on. I highly recommend Can Can Brasserie! You won’t be disappointed. ”
“ we ordered steak sandwich, an omelet, bread service, and mimosa. The reservation booking system is amazing, we didn't have to wait long. In the past I hesitated to go due to how always crowded it seems. Well, just book a reservation and you will be good to go. Food was solid, service was amazing we didn't have to wait long for our order, the fries was so crispy (mmmm) as well. Definitely a must try, if you happen to be in Carytown. ”
“ Always love coming to Can Can! The atmosphere and ambiance is great. The waitstaff always give great service. Amazing food every time! ”
“ Enjoyed stepping inside this beautifully restaurant. The avocado toast and beet salad were fresh and properly proportioned. The coffee was fresh. I will say the 2 top table was really small, even for just me! They were very busy and it showed in the fact I wasn't acknowledged for 20 minutes by my waitress. Once she introduced herself it was smoothe sailing. I would come here again if I happened to be in the area. ”
“ First time coming in here and my boyfriend and I’s expectations were exceeded! I got the croque madame and my boyfriend got a special they were having (a quiche with ham, cheese, and caramelized onions) with the French onion soup. The portions were massive and the food was very flavorful!! We also got a carafe of the peach Bellini and coffee, which were both very good. A little pricey but I think it’s worth it for the portions they serve! ”
